360: Bringing Life and Faith Full Circle

Our 360 program recently launched on September 1st, 2010.  It focuses on personal development with the homeless through daily meetings and activities that include one on one group sessions to deal with addictive behaviors, service works to the city, certification training for volunteer work, job placement, and workshops.  The workshops will incorporate art, music, and field trips with which to explore life outside of addiction and violence.  Those enrolled in the year long program will be serving several times monthly in the community so as to broaden their vocational skills.

360 staff will introduce and implement spiritual disciplines of scripture, prayer, humility, service and community in the lives of all enrolled by spending a month focusing on each of the above through our teaching, lectures, studies and activities.

Already we are seeing change in the lives of the 6 men who have comitted to walking alongside our staff in the process of spiritual growth and healing.  In the first week after launching 4 of the men expressed a desire to be baptized!  We are excited for all God is doing and will do in the lives of our friends.  Together we will walk in unity, pursuing a healthy balance of life and faith.
