“We’ve opened our lives to this city. We drink from its faucets, eat from its fruits; breath it; it permeates us through our pores. And we’re here to make a difference. We’re here to see light shine through the cracks. We’re here to be the plastic bag that blows in the wind, giving a glimmer of hope in the beauty of God. Because a glimmer becomes a shine, which becomes a light, which becomes as bright as the sun. And Christ through us has no limit to this shine. We’re hoping it gets pretty bright.”
This is the city we love, San Francisco. Please, come along with us as we’re here, in the thick of it, breathing it all in. Life may not always be pretty, but it sure is beautiful. Won’t you join me? As we go along, into the dark, perhaps, but that light may shine, and more abundantly, because we’re with Christ, and He, with us.
